Today was my couch to 5k week 3 day 2 run (C25k W3D2) It was a beautiful sunny day and I ran in the park close to my apartment. I was feeling hot so I couldn’t resist running in a shaded trail within the park. I enjoyed the seclusion and shade but I had a feeling that maybe I shouldn’t have done it. I felt safe but I’ve read stories of women runners getting into trouble when they ran in secluded trails alone so maybe I shouldn’t do it again.

I feel good about week 3 of C25k and whenever I feel like not running I think about my upcoming 5k race in September. I hate to fail so my race gets me out of the house.
